We are delighted to welcome Dr Poly Frangou to the lab and would like to congratulate her on receiving the Sir Henry Wellcome Fellowship!

Dr Frangou has already made important contributions to her field through her PhD and post-doctoral research in the Adaptive Brain Lab at the University of Cambridge. By employing multi-modal brain imaging (fMRI, Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy) and non-invasive brain stimulation (tDCs), Dr Frangou has investigated the role of inhibitory mechanisms in visual learning (recent publication).

Upon joining the lab, Dr Frangou will investigate the modulation of visual disturbances in Parkinson’s Disease.
