Peter Doohan

BSc(Hons), MSc


DPhil Student

Peter is a DPhil Student in Neuroscience at the Nuffield Department for Clinical Neurosciences, and Corpus Christi College, at the University of Oxford. He is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Tim Behrens & Dr Thomas Akam in the Computational Neuroscience Group. His academic qualifications include a BSc(Hons) from the University of Sydney (Pharmacology) and an MSc from the University of Oxford (Neuroscience).

Peter's current research focuses on the contributions of the medial prefrontal cortex to planning in complex environments. Previously, his research concentrated on translational cannabinoid neuropharmacology. He is also a Open Science Ambassador (2023) at the Wellcome Center for Integrative Neuroimaging.
