Rachel Leung

DPhil Student and Rhodes Scholar

Rachel Leung is a DPhil student and Honorary Clinical Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences. Her primary research interest is in multi-territory vascular disease epidemiology and risk prediction. Rachel currently works on investigating the incidence, risk factors, outcome and risk stratification of multi-territory vascular disease in high-risk patients, under the supervision of Professor Peter Rothwell and Mr Dominic Howard. She is selected as one of the 10 Young Reviewers at European Stroke Journal. 

Prior to coming to Oxford, Rachel completed her medical studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong within the Global Physician Leadership stream. During this time, she also conducted clinical and epidemiological research in Hong Kong, Oxford and Brown university, supported by scholarships from the Hong Kong Government and other non-governmental organisations.
