Therapeutic brain stimulation demonstration
Therapeutic brain stimulation demonstration

On 30 July 2015, the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences once again hosted a visit from the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF).

LIYSF is a two-week residential event held at Imperial College London, with lectures and demonstrations from leading scientists, visits to industrial sites, research centres, scientific institutions and organisations, including world class laboratories and universities. It attracts over 400 of the world's leading young scientists aged 17-21 years old from more than 60 participating countries.

Honestly one of the coolest things I've done - LIYSF Student

Our aim was to showcase some of our research and to inspire young scientists.

The programme included a talk on sleep, and a visit to our Neuropathology Lab to see a real human brain. The students tried on the latest prototype of our smart glasses for visually impaired people, and watched a demonstration of therapeutic brain stimulation.
