Adam Steel awarded prestigious Neukom fellowship!

As a Neukom Fellow, Adam will investigate the neural basis of spatial memory formation using a combination of virtual reality, fMRI, magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and computational modeling.

The Neukom Institute for Computational Science supports a broad view of computational investigation across campus, and to catalyze creative thought throughout the Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, and Business.  Neukom Fellowships are awarded to recent PhDs, DMAs, or MFAs whose research interests or practice cuts across traditional disciplinary boundaries, and has some computational component, whether it be a framing concept for intellectual exploration or an explicit part of the work that is pursued. Neukom Fellowships are two year positions, and include research and teaching responsibilities.
