Travel grant awarded for SFN Conference in San Diego

Congratulations to our 3rd year DPhil student Magdalena Nowak who received the Guarantors of Brain Travel Grant to attend the Society for Neuroscience Conference in San Diego this November. Magda will be presenting her work on the physiological mechanisms of transcranial oscillatory currents and the importance of her findings.

More information on Magda's conference experience will be reported here on her return.

The Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting will be held in San Diego from 12-16th November this year.  The conference will be attended by over 15,000 neuroscientists from across the world.

Guarantors of Brain are a registered charity that provide a wide range of grants and financial support to neuroscientists.  The travel grant is intended mainly to support attendance at scientific meetings that relate directly to the applicant's research interests, and where they will be presenting their original work.  More information on the travel grants can be found here.
