Kwame Baffour-Awuah

Medical Student

Kwame is a medical student at St Catherine's College working with Professor Robert Maclaren and his team of specialist optometrists in a project investigating whether central visual field loss in choroideremia patients affects how they perform in visual acuity testing. Understanding the limitations of standard vision testing charts for patients suffering from inherited retinal diseases will improve the assessment of outcomes in visual acuity for clinical trials.
