Sonia Vallentin

Biography

Sonia is currently Project Coordinator for the AGENDA Project, a research group that aims to improve the diagnosis of epilepsy in Brazil, India, Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe through designing portable electroencephalograms and smartphone applications. 

Sonia is also a part-time DPhil Candidate at the University of Oxford, looking at the perception and implementation of technology in limited-resource settings to improve epilepsy diagnosis and management. 

Before coming to NDCN, she completed a BA in Music at Durham University and an MSc in Global Mental Health at King's College London and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
