Organised by the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust through OxSTaR

All Foundation Year 2 doctors are required to participate in a Quality Improvement Project (QIP) through OxSTaR (Oxford Simulation, Teaching and Research).

The aim is to produce a well-designed and meaningful project which results in tangible change in the workplace and sustainably improved patient  care. The team members for each QIP must be multidisciplinary, and can include healthcare professionals from any background working in the clinical area where the project is ongoing.

The final projects are presented at the  Quality Improvement Symposium, which includes:

  • Guest speaker
  • Poster viewing and judging
  • Oral presentations
  • Prize giving to winning posters/presentations

A light lunch and refreshments will be served during the symposium. Please email if you plan to attend the day.
