We report an expulsive hemorrhage in a 76-year-old man with rubeotic glaucoma in one eye while on oral anticoagulant therapy. We hypothesize that prolonged ocular hypotony resulting from a perforation of an infective corneal ulcer in the presence of anticoagulation led to the development of an extensive suprachoroidal hemorrhage. This case reminds us that anticoagulation should be considered a risk factor for the development of expulsive hemorrhage.
