With a view to translating OxPPOPS to breast cancer surgery in the future, we have performed a sub-study investigating an objective measure of lymphedema using tissue dielectric constant measurements, in collaboration with breast cancer surgeon Miss Jane Clarke. This project has now been extended to an MSc project for Roel Haen, including computer modelling of the tissue in collaboration with Dr Peadar Grant at the University College Dublin Engineering and Materials Science Centre.
