Marleen’s DPhil viva

We are very pleased to announce that Marleen successfully defended her DPhil thesis on Thursday. Many thanks to Mel Fleming and Holly Rossiter for expert examining – we learnt a lot! – and very many congratulations to our very own Dr Schoenfeld. Our first in-person post-viva celebrations included the traditional PiNG balloon – nice to see them back! Just very sad that Marleen’s co-supervisor Catharina couldn’t celebrate in person this time – but hopefully we can make up for it soon.
