We can only accept people to study for a DPhil if they have evidence of funding for the duration of their study. On the application form you will be asked how you intend to fund your studies. If you are awaiting a decision from a possible funding body, or if such a body requires a letter of acceptance from the University then you can still apply, but any offer will be conditional on funding being secured.

Although securing funding is the responsibility of the applicant there are a number of avenues that potential applicants can pursue. See the University website for information about other Graduate Scholarships not based in our Department.
