Investigating chronic migraine using MR imaging

My research focuses on using MR imaging to investigate the pathophysiology of chronic migraine. I use MRI to explore changes in both structure and function of the brain in chronic migraine.

My DPhil is supervised by Dr. Zameel Cader, Consultant Neurologist and Head of the Oxford Headache Centre, Dr. Holly Bridge and Prof. Irene Tracey.

We are currently using diffusion weighted imaging to investigate differences in structural connectivity in chronic migraine. We will be using Arterial Spin Labelling and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy to investigate functional changes in the migraine brain.
