Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Cognitive Neurology
Dr. Emily Butler is a postdoctoral research scientist in the Memory Research Group. Currently she is investigating the role of perirhinal cortex in memory and whether it shows process- or stimulus-specific function. This is completed using a variety of behavioural tests, as well as functional neuroimaging in both patients and healthy matched controls.
Additionally Dr. Butler is investigating forgetting with particular focus on finding a task suited to test Accelerated Long-term Forgetting (ALF) in clinic.
