Gary Lau


Clinical Research Fellow

Gary Lau is a clinical neurologist with an interest in stroke. He was awarded a University of Oxford Croucher Scholarship in 2014 through which he is pursuing a DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences at The Centre for Prevention of Stroke and Dementia, under the supervision of Professor Peter Rothwell. His research interests are in the causes of stroke, use of imaging to better risk stratify patients after an initial TIA or stroke and blood pressure management after stroke. 

Gary is also passionate about medical education. He helped launch the The HKU eLearning Platform in Clinical Neurosciences in 2014, which he is currently the Editor of.
