I am a Research Fellow in the Aerospace Medicine Research Group at The University of Oxford, under the leadership of Dr Thomas Smith.

My current research work involves investigating the use of mild hypoxia to improve fitness and subsequent outcomes in major surgery in older patients.

I am due to submit my PhD in Surgery at The University of Auckland, New Zealand in late 2015.

I am a General Surgical Trainee in New Zealand, having completed my SET 1 year.
