Madeleine Hurry

BA, MRes

Research Assistant

I am a research assistant working with Dr Claire Sexton (Psychiatry) and Dr Simon Kyle (SCNi).

I am co-ordinating an online trial called “Defining the Impact of improved Sleep on COgnitive function (DISCO)”, where we are investigating the impact of a digital Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) programme for insomnia on cognition and daytime function. We are interested in seeing if CBT confers reliable improvement to cognitive performance and to what extent such improvement may be mediated by reductions in insomnia severity.

Prior to this position, I completed a BA in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford and an MRes in Experimental Neuroscience at Imperial College London.
