Magdalena Kubiak

Clinical Research Fellow


Magdalena initially gained experience in Physics through IYPT and she studied Biophysics at Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Later she came to London to broaden horizons in Neuroscience, receiving BSc from University College London.

Magdalena worked in Prof Stephen Davies' Lab on the role of ubiquitin-proteasome system in neuronal nucleus and Huntington's disease. There she became interested in Clinical Neurology and decided to study Medicine at Imperial College London, graduating in 2012.

Following foundation programme in Oxford Deanery, Magdalena joined the Stroke Prevention Research Unit in August 2014. Currently she is working for Professor Peter Rothwell on Oxford Vascular Study.
