Self Intro

Pao-Sheng is an experienced biomedical scientist with practical expertise in neuroscience and immunology. He has received solid DPhil and postdoctoral training at Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford. During his DPhil, he developed high-throughput multiplex live cell-based assays to detect tumor-associated autoantibodies in the sera from patients diagnosed with autoimmune-mediated neurological diseases. His postdoctoral research is to investigate the neuroimmunological signatures and interactions in human peripheral nerve injury and a humanised in vitro microfluidic neuronal injury model. Meanwhile, the single-cell RNA sequencing and cell-sorting protocols are optimised to identify the immune cell clusters between the injured and healthy human nerves.
