Biography

Rory Piper is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery at the University of Oxford. His current research objectives are to apply novel neuroimaging techniques in neurosurgery, particularly within neuro-oncology and epilepsy surgery.

He graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in 2015 and acquired a First Class honours intercalated degree in Neuroscience (2012). His medical school elective was spent as a clinical-research attachment in Epilepsy Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital (USA). After graduating, he completed the Cambridge Academic Foundation Programme in Neurosciences and worked for Mr Stephen Price in the Cambridge Brain Tumour Imaging Laboratory.
