Dr Victoria Trubody
My current research focuses on reversible cardiomyopathies occurring during critical illness. I am currently utilising a variety of techniques to explore the incidence and time course of reversible myocardial dysfunction observed in Intensive Care patients.
This work aims to provide a comprehensive description of the incidence, time course and outcomes associated with the development of reversible myocardial dysfunction during critical illness.
I have been involved with Intensive Care research since 2006, primarily involved with exploring the functional impact, neuropsychological outcomes and quality of life in survivors of critical illness.
