Code of Practice
The department abides by the divisional Code of Practice for the supervision of research students. This states 'Each department has an approved statement of provision for graduate students which specifies the expected frequency of supervisory meetings. Supervisors must ensure that they are familiar with their departmental statement and that the agreed schedule of meetings with the student meets the requirements of the statement.' The Graduate Studies Committee has agreed that no further departmental statement is necessary, and offers provision at the level outlined in the divisional document.
