She was awarded the prestigious Frederic Hewitt Lectureship by the Royal College of Anaesthetists in May 2025 in recognition of her sustained and innovative contributions to human factors, patient safety and simulation-based education.

Three pioneering Oxford researchers, including Professor Timothy Behrens from NDCN, are among the first recipients of the Royal Society Faraday Discovery Fellowships, prestigious long-term awards to support exceptional mid-career research leaders in the UK. Only seven academics were selected in total from more than 600 initial applications.
