NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Neurology
I am an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Neurology in NDCN and a Neurology Registrar. My research focuses on how the immune system and diseased brain interact. This has relevance to how we understand neurodegenerative diseases, delirium and changes in immune responses with ageing.
I undertook a B.A. in Psychology at University College Dublin, before completing a PhD at Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience and School of Biochemistry and Immunology in Trinity College Dublin. I subsequently studied Medicine at the University of Oxford. Since then, I've been on the academic clinical training pathway, in London and Oxford.
