A project in our Department is a winner of the 2014 Google Impact Challenge, and will receive £500,000.

Smart glasses for people with sight loss to make the most of their remaining vision – a partnership between the Royal National Institute of Blind People and a research team in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences led by Dr Stephen Hicks, won as the 'People's Choice' following a public vote.
