Lyndsey Mugford

MSc(Res) Student in Clinical Neurosciences

Biography

I am a MSc (Res) student in Clinical Neurosciences conducting research in the Bennett Lab within the neural injury group. My studies examine mechanisms of sensory neuron outgrowth and repair, particularly in human models of hyper- or hypo-sensitivity to pain. This research contributes to my broader interests in neuroregeneration, neuropathic pain, and patient experiences of neurological disease.

I pursue this work with the support of the Rhodes Scholarship (2024 cohort). Prior to my current studies, I completed my Bachelor of Art's degree in human developmental and regenerative biology at Harvard University.
