Inherited Retinal Degeneration

I employ bioinformatic analyses to explore whole-genome sequencing data generated from the 100,000 Genomes Project. My main area of interest is undiagnosed inherited retinal degenerations. I aim to identify novel genetic variants, molecular mechanisms or even new candidate disease genes associated with inherited retinal degenerations and perform in-silico proteomics analysis of candidate variants.
