MSc Student and Rotary International Global Grant Scholar

Ellie is the recipient of a Rotary International Global Grant focused on disease prevention and treatment. Before moving to Oxford, Ellie completed the first 3 years of medical training at University of Colorado School of Medicine. Prior to medical school she completed her BA at University of Colorado - Boulder, graduating magna cum laude for her undergraduate thesis. She plans on returning to Colorado to finish medical training and apply to residency in ophthalmology.


Ellie is currently pursuing her MSc by Research in Clinical Neuroscience under the supervision of Professor Robert MacLaren. Her research focuses on applications of the CRISPR-Cas9 system to treat inherited retinal diseases.
