Jakob Theorell

Biography

Dr Theorell is an MD/PhD currently working in the Autoimmune Neurology Group with Professor Sarosh Irani on projects investigating the cellular immunology of Autoimmune Encephalitides. He did his PhD with Professor Yenan Bryceson, Center for Hematology and Regenerative Medicine, Department of Medicine, Huddinge, Karolinska Institutet. His PhD title was Chronic Human Immunodeficiency Syndromes Affecting Lymphocyte Cytotoxicity. His clinical interest is mainly patients in the interface between neurology, psychiatry and immunology.
