Research Summary
My previous research interest in amyloid structures brought me to the Tofari’s lab. My primary aim in my Ph.D. was to investigate the potential of flaviviral and coronaviral proteins to form amyloid aggregates and their interaction with hallmark proteins. Here, I am working on the clearance of alpha-synuclein aggregates using Protac molecules. The distant goal is to identify drug candidates to be useful in Parkinson’s disease.
