My major interest is in neuron connection and signalling in health and disease and how human induced pluripotent stem cells (IPSC) technology can be used as a platform for modelling disease for drug discovery.
I have experience in establishing sensory neuron model on multiple electrode array (MEA) system from IPSCs to model pain signalling in migraine with the goal to assess the potential pain related drug therapies. Currently working on drug discovery programmes and modelling pain mechanism through neuron-glia interactions in vitro.
