DPhil Student and Clarendon Scholar
Ahmad is current a DPhil student at the Wolfson Center for Prevention and Stroke and Dementia. His research interests include stroke epidemiology, stroke in the young, and rare causes of stroke. Under the supervision of Dr Li and Prof Rothwell, his DPhil work focuses on the mechanisms and impacts of stroke at younger ages.
Prior to coming to Oxford in 2024, Ahmad completed his medical studies and neurology training in Canada (Université de Montréal) and a stroke fellowship in France (CHU Caen-Normandie).
