Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology DPhil student, Peter Charbel Issa, has been appointed to a full professorship at the University of Bonn. His chair is supported by the Pro Retina research foundation, which supports research into retinal diseases. Peter is in the third year of his DPhil and has already published widely on retinal diseases, with much of his work undertaken here in Oxford. Professor Charbel Issa's inauguration ceremony at the University of Bonn took place on Tuesday 22 May, and his personal webpage at the University Eye Clinic of Bonn can be found here.
