Linear registration methods (FLIRT)
- Uses specifically developed robust global optimisation methodology, coupled with a range of single- and multi-modal cost functions, including Mutual Information, Correlation Ratio, Normalised Correlation, and BBR (Boundary-Based Registration)
Nonlinear registration methods (FNIRT)
- Combines a highly efficient Levenberg-Marquardt modification of the Gauss-Newton optimisation method within a b-spline framework, with additional intensity bias-field modelling.
