Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Silja is an ophthalmology trainee and holds a PhD in ocular gene therapy from Aarhus University in Denmark. She has recently been awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the VELUX Foundation to undertake postdoctoral research in the MacLaren Laboratory. Her research focuses on the development of CRISPR/Cas9-based strategies to treat inherited retinal diseases.
