Postdoctoral researcher in MR Spectroscopy
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Physics group at the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN), working with Dr. Will Clarke.
My work focusses on developing new methods for magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), a technique similar to MRI that allows us to quantify the concentrations and chemical kinetics of many metabolites in the human brain.
I am broadly interested in the application of mathematical techniques to help solve medical problems; during my doctorate I developed mechanistic models of hydrogel-coated stem cells in flow to inform new therapies for the treatment of liver disease.
