Clinical Neurosciences Society
Mission and Aims
The Clinical Neurosciences Society (CNS) has a remit to promote social and developmental events for everyone in NDCN. The CNS membership will include members from all divisions and representing all groups in NDCN (PSS, research and academic staff, students, medical support staff). The CNS reports to the NDCN Research Culture Working Group.

The CNS Committee will meet every two months.
Terms of Reference
- To support an active and inclusive programme of social activities to increase departmental engagement
- To support a programme of charitable fundraising within NDCN
- To work with NDCN’s People & Culture Working Groups where appropriate, especially on areas of overlap with the Research Culture Working Group
- To provide annual report of activities, including measures of success, to the NDCN Research Culture Working Group
- Chair(s) are expected to carry out activities on the basis of a fair and evenly shared workload and allocate tasks among committee members equitably.
- Funding decisions shall be made transparently and in accordance with available budget.
