Biography
I am a DPhil student in the Neuromusculoskeletal Health and Science Lab supervised by Prof Annina Schmid and Dr. Georgios Baskozos. I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University graduating with distinction. I then completed a clinical Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency at Northwestern University assisting with research evaluating cervical muscle morphology after whiplash injury. Before moving to Oxford, I worked as a physiotherapist in the US.
My research is focused on understanding the transition from acute to chronic pain. My current project assesses nerve pathology and factors related to chronic pain in a longitudinal cohort of patients after whiplash injury.
