There is a Pret a Manger on LG2 (West Wing), and an M&S shop & cafe at the Main Entrance. There are canteens on Level 3 (Main Hospital) & Level 2 (West Wing). Try the George Pickering Education Centre on Level 3 (Main Hospital), & the League of Friends Cafes in the Main Hospital & West Wing.

Researcher Networks

There are a number of researcher networks across the Medical Sciences Division, which support our huge and diverse community.

The University webpages give details of help with loans for bus/train passes and bikes.

The University operates three pension schemes for staff. Your eligibility will be determined by your job role and contract type.


A number of companies offer discounts to University staff. Staff also get a 10% discount at the Ashmolean, Bodleian and University of Oxford shop. Discounted computing software can be purchased through IT Services.
