Research Professional is an online research funding opportunities database and alerting service. The University has a site-wide licence, so it is freely accessible to everyone at Oxford.
MEDICAL SCIENCES DIVISION
The Medical Sciences Division Researchers’ Toolkit includes information about internal funding opportunities and a useful section covering support for researchers.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS OFFICE
The MSD Business Partnerships Office supports the establishment and long-term sustainability of strategic research alliances between industry and academia. Their focused remit allows them to provide the necessary resources to develop, deliver and support long-term partnerships and they have been instrumental in setting up a number of strategic partnerships and in building relationships with SMEs. They also manage a number of industry supported fellowship schemes, run focused networking and matchmaking events and host an Experts in Residence scheme.
TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH OFFICE
The MSD Translational Research Office (TRO) delivers support to translational research projects ensuring the progression of basic, biomedical and clinical research towards therapies, techniques and medical products with therapeutic value. They support researchers by seeking out funding schemes, developing project strategies, providing advice around planning, connecting researchers to internal and external expertise, infrastructures and resources, and provide research project management.

- NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) South Central provides free and confidential research design and methodological support to health and social care researchers to develop grant applications to the NIHR and other national peer reviewed funding programmes.
