NDCN Public Engagement Fund

Members of NDCN can apply to this managed fund of £5,000 a year, for a maximum of £1,000. ​​Applications are welcome on a rolling basis, there is no fixed application deadline. Submit applications to hanna.smyth@ndcn.ox.ac.uk. Funding decisions for this award are made by the NDCN Engagement and Impact Committee chaired by Professor Holly Bridge.

University of Oxford Funding

University-wide funding schemes you can apply for include:

Public and Community Engagement with Research Seed Fund (termly fixed deadlines)

Knowledge Exchange Seed Fund (termly fixed deadlines)

Multiple schemes offered by OPEN (Oxford Policy Engagement Network) including fellowships, workshop grants, and Public Policy Challenge Fund

Please contact Carinne and Hanna (see sidebar at right) to discuss and strengthen your application for any of these schemes. 

Please note that if you are submitting an application to any of the above schemes, any other internal university schemes via IRAMS, or any external schemes that require staff costings, you need to also  inform research.applications@ndcn.ox.ac.uk with minimum three weeks' notice.

Dedicated PPI funding opportunities are rare and limited, so we encourage you to cost PPI into your research grant applications. Please contact Carinne and Hanna (see sidebar at right) to discuss and strengthen your application.
