All adverts are placed on www.ox.ac.uk and www.jobs.ac.uk (if they are grade 4 and above) free of charge.
Adverts can be placed on the NHS Job Site free of charge but you must request it via the Recruitment Plan Document. You should be thinking about advertising on the NHS Jobs Site if you are recruiting for a Research Nurse or similar post.
If you wish to advertise in other media, thereby incurring costs, HR will advise on final charges on each case. As an example, an advert on Nature Online displaying the University of Oxford logo comes under £100 but an advert in the British Medical Journal can cost around £1500.
There is also the option to advertise internally for University employees only.
Length of Advertising Campaigns
HR recommends that all adverts are live for 2 weeks.
However, PIs and Line Managers are encouraged to discuss their requirements with HR directly. Each case is different and there may be reasons why a 2 week advert campaign is not necessary.

HOW TO ESCALATE QUERIES

Urgent: If no response is received after 1 week, please re-send to the team generic email address and cc to team manager.
